Can't pay with a HyperRingUpdated 6 months ago

If you're having trouble making payments with your HyperRing, try these troubleshooting steps:

Check HyperRing Status

1. Verify Activation: Open the HyperRing Pay app and check if payments are activated for your HyperRing

2. Check if Paused: See if payments have been accidentally paused and reactivate if needed

3. Confirm Card Status: Ensure your payment card hasn't expired or been blocked by your bank

Payment Terminal Issues

1. Proper Positioning:

- Position the palm side of the ring flat against the terminal

- Hold steady for 2-3 seconds to allow the transaction to complete

2. Terminal Compatibility:

- Confirm the terminal accepts contactless payments (look for the contactless symbol)

- Some older terminals may not support contactless technology

- Try a different terminal if available

Common Issues and Solutions

- Transaction Amount Too High: Amounts above the contactless limit (typically €25-€50) may require PIN entry

- Cumulative Limit Reached: After several contactless transactions, PIN verification may be required for security

- Interference: Metal objects, other NFC cards, or your phone near the wearable may cause interference

- Physical Damage: Inspect your HyperRing for visible damage that might affect the NFC chip

Next Steps If Problems Persist

1. Try removing and reconnecting your payment card in the HYperRing Pay app

2. Test your HyperRing at different payment terminals

3. Contact your bank to verify your card status

4. Reach out to HyperRing customer support with details about the issue
