I have misspelled or forgotten the email I used when I connected my payment card, and now I can't remove it from the HyperRing. What should I do?Updated 6 months ago

If you can't remove a payment card from your HyperRing because you've forgotten or misspelled the email address used during setup, follow these steps:

Try to Identify the Email Address

1. Check Common Variations:

- Try different email addresses you commonly use

- Try variations with and without dots (some systems ignore dots in email addresses)

- Check for common misspellings or typos you might have made

- Try older email addresses you may have used in the past

2. Check Related Services:

- If you connected your card through a bank or payment provider

- The email might match the one registered with that service

- Check which email is associated with your bank account or payment service

Contact HyperRing Support

If you still can't identify the correct email:

1. Prepare the Following Information:

- The last 4 digits of the connected payment card

- Your HyperRing details (brand, model)

- Proof of ownership of the HyperRing (purchase receipt if available)

- Identification documents (to verify you're the rightful owner)

2. Contact Support Through:

- Email: [email protected]

- Support form on the HyperRing website

- In-app support feature

3. Request Assistance:

- Explain that you can't remove your card due to email mismatch

- Provide the prepared information

- Ask for a manual removal of the card from your wearable

After Resolution

Once the support team helps you remove the card:

1. Connect a new card (if desired) using an email address you'll remember

2. Document the email used for future reference

3. Consider using a password manager or note-taking app to record which email you used

For security reasons, HyperRing support will require proper verification to ensure you're the legitimate owner of both the HyperRing and payment card before they can assist with manual removal.
